I hired this family owned business and was very impressed! These guys are "The Best" I've seen in a while! Very neat, clean, fresh newer looking home we now have thanks to "Blue Sky Pro Painting LLC"! Great Professional Quality Service! I highly recommend this company! Sincerely, Environmental Commissioner Ron Merritt II MBA
Tim was very punctual (came out to quote the job on the same day that I called). Gave a fair quote, started project on agreed time, and worked clean & professional. His crew was great and they even painted the front door which was not part of the job score. I would highly recommend!
I watched this crew paint one of my neighbors home, which was outstanding work... I HIRED them immediately! Once again, I'm absolutely PLEASED at the work on my home. They painted my facial boards and now my home looks like a brand NEW house! Professional, friendly, clean and perfectionist. Great company!! I'm a proud customer for life.
New home. Older home needed trim work. Ended up getting three quotes. Blue sky was in the mix, competitively priced. I liked the guy who came out and did the quote, tim. His team power washed a few days before painting crew. Then his crew came out and got it done in one day. Typical Canton house, two story. Pricing was great quality is fantastic. Made some suggestions on coloring which helped us a lot. Would happily go with this company again.
Overall, I had an extremely negative experience with Blue Sky Pro Painting. My initial interactions were positive - we received a quote the same day of our request, and the work was scheduled to start within a few days - patch and paint all walls and trim on the main floor and stairwell leading to the second floor. We had just purchased our new home and were looking to have the painting completed before we moved in. The quick timing was ideal because we had a two week window before our move. Unfortunately, this was the end of our positive experiences. Upon completion of the work my wife went to the house to inspect the work - there were two issues that she immediately observed - the first was that there were bubbles in the paint on several of the walls, the second was that some of the trim was not painted. We communicated these issues and received quick feedback. Some of the trim was skipped in error, some of the trim was a misunderstanding and not quoted, and they would come out to look at the bubbles. We agreed on a modified price with a commitment from Blue Sky to correct any issues with the job, and in return we left payment. Within the next two days to finish the trim work, but nothing was done to address the bubbles. We were told that there was absolutely nothing wrong with their work and that the bubbles were our fault because we turned off the heat and the house was too cold. We were also told that they already sanded and repainted, but that the bubbles kept coming back because the house was too cold. I was confused for several reasons - First, if it was too cold in the house then why did thy finish the initial paint job and come out the second time to finish the missed trim. Second, we were not living at the house and had no way to turn off the heat, so how did that happen? Third, the existing bubble locations match the pictures that we have of the original bubble locations, so I have very little confidence that any corrections were made. I went to visit the house the next day and saw that the wiring to the thermostat had been damaged during the painting. The thermostat had been dismounted so that they could paint behind it (I planned on changing the thermostat), and some of the wires had broken off while the painting was being completed. I reconnected the wires and the heat immediately turned back on. I contacted Blue Sky Painting to inform them that the heat had been restored so they could come back out to fix the bubbles. We received another response that the bubbles were our fault, but that they would come take a look to see what could be done. We did not receive any response for several days so I reached out again. We received the same response: the bubbles were not their fault, but that they would come back out to take a look. It has now been three weeks (November 19th) and I still have not received any further communication. Unfortunately for us, at this point we have fully moved into our new home and it will be very difficult to have the paint work corrected. What is even worse, we focused all of our communication on trying to correct the visually obvious issue of the paint bubbles, but we did not even have a chance to address countless additional issues that were immediately apparent once I corrected the heat issue - dripping paint marks, carpet fibers painted into the walls, spots completely unpainted, trim cracks and nail holes not patched (it was confirmed prior to work starting that all trim work would be patched), wall patch work either rushed or completely skipped altogether, air holes in spackle that was painted over, sides of doors not painted, and pain on nearly every hinge and door knob, and along much of the floor. I am attaching pictures so you can see that I am not just making up issues because I'm upset about the paint bubbles, and this is just a small sampling. It will take me weeks of my limited time to rearrange the house and re-patch / re-paint. It is not an exaggeration to say that every single wall needs to be reworked. Very disappointing.
